Referral Fees & Information

Manor Estate Agent may introduce vendors and purchasers to carefully selected third-party service providers. These may include mortgage advisers, insurance advisers, solicitors, conveyancers, and surveyors.

You are under no obligation to use any service provider we recommend. It is entirely your choice whether you proceed with any referred third party, and you are free to instruct alternative providers of your choosing.

Referral Fees

Where we introduce you to a third-party service provider, Manor Estate Agent may receive a referral fee. Any referral fee we receive is paid by the service provider and does not affect the advice or service you receive from them.

Referral fees are only payable to us where the relevant transaction completes or, in the case of insurance products, once a policy is placed on risk.

The referral fees we may receive are as follows:

  • Mortgages (new residential mortgages, new buy-to-let mortgages, residential remortgages and buy-to-let remortgages):
30% of the net procuration fee upon completion of the mortgage.
  • Insurance and protection products (critical illness cover, income protection, life cover and relevant life cover):
30% of the net annual premium income commission once the policy is placed on risk, after allowing for regulatory provisions such as potential future clawbacks.
  • Conveyancing (conveyancing-only cases):
Fixed referral fee of £150, upon legal completion.
  • HomeBuyer Service (mortgage and purchase conveyancing):
Fixed referral fee of £350, upon legal completion.
  • HomeBuyer Service Plus (mortgage and sale/purchase conveyancing):
Fixed referral fee of £500, upon legal completion.

Current Third-Party Service Provider

The only third-party service provider from whom Manor Estate Agent may currently receive a referral fee is: ONEDOME LTD

Independence of Third Parties

All third-party service providers we recommend are independent of Manor Estate Agent. Their own terms of business will apply to your relationship with them, and Manor Estate Agent is not responsible for the advice or services they provide.
